How To Make Presentations For Business Appointments Interesting ...

Making your sales presentations interesting for your business leads is an important aspect of your business appointment setting. If you simply deliver your sales pitch the moment you sit down with your prospect, then you?ll most likely lose your sales opportunity halfway through your speech. Considering how long it takes to get good business appointments, you and your sales representatives should make the most of every meeting opportunity to get qualified b2b sales leads to purchase and increase the revenue of your business.

You can make your sales presentation interesting by doing the following:

  • Say something about the business of your sales leads ? when commenting about their business, mention something nice, like how the colors of their building emulate the purpose of their business accurately, or mention a problem that you identified during your research. Doing so proves that you gave enough effort to actually to know more about your business sales lead. However, don?t say anything too personal, or else they?ll think that your stepping over their privacy.
  • Make your presentation lively ? with so many different types of media you can use for your presentation, you have no excuse to only bring a generic PowerPoint or slideshow for your next meeting. While you shouldn?t get carried away by preparing presentations which are overly dramatic, you can always use videos, animations, captioned photos, or sound effects to keep the attention of your business leads longer.
  • Avoid stereotyping ? when discussing with your business leads, don?t use words that are aimed to stereotype or generalize the topic. Your business leads want to be given special attention, so focus all your attention on them.
  • Make it continuous ? make sure your slides are set up in proper order so that you won?t have to skip slides while you give your presentation. When you continuously skip and go back to your slides, you will easily confuse your prospects. If an image needs to appear twice, then by all means add another slide for it.Going back on your slides is only applicable for when you are already answering questions after the presentation.
  • Keep your presentations and handouts similar ? to further avoid confusion, it is best to simply print out the slides you used in your presentation, just make sure that all the text remains easily readable. If the format of your handouts is completely different from your slides, your might need to constantly inform your prospects to flip to the page.
